Your SpecialisationAt the Academy, we don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. This is why we offer a variety of specialisations to suit your interests and to cater for your potential client base. You may do multiple pathways for a number of Academy Diplomas that will list your specialty of choice. These are in addition to your Government-Accredited Remedial Diploma. Some Diploma specialty subjects can be undertaken anytime they are offered in the timetable, (eg Anma, Reflexology I, Polarity Therapy I and Acupressure I as there are no pre-requisites). You don’t have to complete Certificate IV to start some of the Diploma subjects. Just check the pre-requisites and take the subjects when they are scheduled in the timetable.
Sport Massage SpecialisationThis Remedial Diploma pathway caters for those who wish to develop a career as a Sport Massage Therapist. A Sport Massage Therapist uses a combination of techniques to treat athletes and sports people, to promote fitness, good health and to achieve optimum performance and recovery from injury. Graduate with a Diploma of Remedial Massage.
