Student Clinic   What to Expect

One of the reasons NHAA graduates are sought after Australia wide is the extensive training in Massage Therapy they receive while at NHAA. The quality of touch is a key phrase in our work here at NHAA. Quality of touch can only be developed by extensive training and guidance.

To ensure students develop quality of touch, before they graduate they will have to complete 100 hours of clinic. This ensures all skills are developed to a high level and the expectations of the public can be met.

All students provide Massage Therapy but also may specialise in providing treatments such as Polarity Therapy, Reflexology and Myofascial Release Therapy.

Student Clinic Hours

• Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 1.30pm - 4:30 pm
• Saturday 9.30am - 4pm

To make an appointment please call 8231 4933 during office hours of 8.30am - 5pm Monday to Friday.

Upon arrival you will be greeted by a NHAA supervisor who will show you the waiting area for the student massage clinic.

Your student practitioner will then undertake a comprehensive confidential assessment to determine your requirements for the massage treatment session. You will then be shown to your private cubicle where the massage therapy will take place. Proper draping and bolstering is provided at all times to ensure your warmth and comfort throughout the massage treatment session.

The NHAA clinics are fully supervised by senior staff and they oversee all student activities at the clinic.

Cost

All student consultations at the clinic are $25. Due to the cost of this service only cash or cheques are acceptable for treatment payments on the day.
